"The Educational Games Central website allows teachers and trainers, companies and community or non-profit organizations to develop and use online educational games using generic game shells. More specifically, EGC aims to:
- promote knowledge development and transfer by means of computerized Internet-based game shells;
- equip teachers and trainers at all levels with learning tools that are rewarding, effective and adapted to their educational and training needs;
- create a directory of English-language educational games accessible to learners and to teachers and trainers everywhere who want to diversify their teaching or instructional methods in class or at a distance."
