Ludo Park is a serious game for business simulation focused in management and entrepreneurship. The player controls a stand in an amusement park which is in the town for one month, creating his own character and business identity. Then selects a product among thirteen possible: six in the food business, three in the beverage business and four in the entertainment business. Each stand can sell up to two products in different branches of business and they can be upgraded. The experience - that contains more than five hours of game play - ends with full reports on the player's performances and strategies that can be analyzed by a teacher / facilitator.
Each one of the thousands customers of Ludo Park are controlled by an AI that simulates a variety of consumers' profiles. These preferences combined with day of week, weather conditions and events influence directly over the amount of customers the park receives and the kinds of products which will be more sought. The game can be played by one up to forty players simultaneously in real time.
The game play is divided by a day-night cycle:Night: during the night players can buy the materials for making their products (like brands of syrup for soft drinks), define marketing strategies, hire and fire workers and upgrade their business. Information like the weather next day and events in the park are shown to help players in their decision.
Day: during the day, players observe the Market, checking which products are more sought by the customers and the better strategies employed by the adversaries. There's also a mini games in which the players have to serve the customers when there are queues in front of the stand. Winning it betters players' reputation and profit.
