Piri the Explorer Ship In Piri the Explorer Ship you are placed in the role of a captain of the 16th century carrack called Piri. In the introduction the former captain of the ship informs you about the secrets of the World Map of Piri Reis of 1513, which he has never mentioned to anyone.
To unravel the secret of the map, you have to explore the ship and learn to use its sophisticated mechanisms, which contain extensive info on Piri Reis, Turkish history and more, including various video clips. You start on the Marmara Sea (Turkey), after which you have to sail your ship to Istanbul, Seville, Cordoba, Dakar, and Rio de Janeiro.

The game from a Turkish developer includes English voice-overs (no captions), music and sound effects. By right clicking the "Wind Rose" - the options interface - pops up that includes an extensive help screen, a map to transport quickly to other locations in the ship, and a guide's voice that informs the player about the current location.
