Narration in any of four languages recounts that Quackers and his magic paint brush are all that stand between the sordid wizard Chromus and a very old-fashioned-looking greyscale world. The player guides the painter duck as he advances back and forth on a fixed rail through a series of fully 3-dimensional whimsical set pieces, determining what colour (and pattern!) everything ought to be through mouse-clicks on an interface slightly more straightforward than MS Paint yet allowing greater options than the earlier Splash 3D. The camera angle can also be adjusted to better appreciate your handiwork.
