Trivial Net was an early web quiz game challenging the players of the day with nerdy questions pertaining to computing science and computer culture, with a computer trivia e-mail list service as a side venture. The web game would invite players to select the correct answer from a series of radio-button possibilities.
In March of 2006, after operating in its original format for some nine years, the game component of the site was shut down in favor of a non-automated blog series of computer history stumpers. Its engine lives on, however, in Etymologic!
