An intentionally designed prosocial video game intended to increase awareness and provide educational information about teen dating violence, a public health issue. This was the first place game from the 2009 Life. Love. Game Design Challenge. The annual competition is run by Gaming Against Violence, a program of the NGO Jennifer Ann's Group.
The game is intended for use by educators in classrooms, by parents seeking a resource to discuss healthy relationships with their children, and by young people themselves.
This game has a unique game mechanic through which the player controls a bird which is observing the interactions and conversations between three young people. As is the case with all games from the Gaming Against Violence program, the game does not contain any on-screen depictions of violence.
