Strategic Command 2: Weapons and Warfare Expansion is an expansion pack for Strategic Command 2: Blitzkrieg. Like Blitzkrieg the game is a turn-based strategy game that takes place during World War II. The expansion features 6 new open-ended campaigns and 8 additional mini-campaigns such as the Spanish Civil War, North Africa, Kursk, D-Day, Battle for Russia, Battle for Stalingrad, Operation Market Garden and the Battle of the Bulge. The campaigns are introduced with historical material such as audio speeches, news reports, historic photographs and communications from the front.
The game features 30 different countries to play as and 22 different unit types. New units include Commandos, Anti-Air, Artillery, Anti-tank, Tactical Bombers, Strategic Bombers and Destroyers. Also included is a variety of new terrain types and weather effects.
