Around the World in 80 Days is a 1994 kids adventure game by EA Kids and Novotrade. It's the second title in Novotrade's Creative Reader series after Peter Pan. Players follow Phineas Fogg the evil Baron Hogsbreath in a race around the world. When Fogg is in a bind, Phineas gets the help of his monkey sidekick Sidney and the Paintbox Pals, a team of painting and drawing tools that can change things in the world. The game is forgiving and has no dead ends, and the player only needs to interact with the game when using the Paintbox Pals, pressing buttons, or choosing the Fogg's next destination. This is the first part of the game. Phineas Fogg leaves England and travels to Spain and France. There's many more solutions to "puzzles" than this video series shows, and some of the dialogue is chosen at random. This video was recorded in DOSBox. |Source: Obscuritory]
