1... 2... 3... KICK IT! (Drop That Beat Like an Ugly Baby) 1... 2... 3... KICK IT! (Drop That Beat Like an Ugly Baby) is a reworking of AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!!: A Reckless Disregard for Gravity by the same developer. Although the BASE jumping gameplay with the colourful visuals is still present, the game does away with the story and turns it into a diving game with procedurally generated environments created from the player's custom music library, similar to Audiosurf.

After selecting a music file on the hard disk, players dive down complex structures made up out of different types of shapes. The speed matches the music's tempo and the shapes pulsate along with the beat. The aim is to get the highest score possible by scraping across the shapes, avoid getting hit, diving through glass panes and shooting opponents. As the score builds up and the player stays unharmed, a score multiplier goes up. The character, shown through a first-person perspective, is mainly controlled through the mouse. Steering is done by pointing into the right direction and right or middle clicking makes the character turn 90 degrees. The left mouse button is used to shoot mechanical monsters that attempt to hit you, resetting your multiplier. Certain blocks can also be shot to create large passages.

The game was launched as "work in progress" with three initial cities, with a distinct style. The third city contains parameters (DNA) that allow the player to tweak the environment. These are Fatness Gene, Hue Gene and Twist Gene. Music files are supported as MP3, OGG and WAV file types. [source:mobygames]
