Plumeboom has gotten to AbooLand. All day, the Aboo wormlings dig up Magic Crystals. Recently, Crowbeak the wizard and a mad scientist named Cornix have tried to steal crystals. Seems they want to create a Weapon of Darkness. Help the Aboo guard their crystals.

A-B-O-O: Plumeboom's Friends is a match three puzzle game. Your mouse cursor will have a crystal next to it. Click another crystal on the board to swap them. You are trying to create a straight row of three of the same. When you do, those crystals and any of the same that they touch will disappear. Also, the gold area behind the crystals will be destroyed. Keep matching until all gold areas are gone then you will move to the next level. Red areas must be matched twice to destroy them. If the crystal you pick up cannot be used to make a three-way match, it will automatically switch to a random crystal that can be used to make a match.

As you progress through the levels, you will earn bonuses. These are activated when the crystal with the bonus is used to make a match. They do different things, like making the crystals next to them explode, making all the crystals around them explode, clearing the entire row of crystals, etc. You can enter a screen to set which ones, up to three, will appear. After you clear all the levels of a stage, you enter the next stage.After about every other stage, you enter a bonus level. You will see a board with four or more crystals. These will then flip over and you must click where they were. If you succeed, you move to the next stage. [source:mobygames]
