In Across you have a playfield which is divided into a red side, a blue side and a movable wall in the middle. Blue and red colored rings floating around.
The players task is to move the wall so that those rings on the wrong side get to their own colored side, while those already there don't escape to the other side.
Each level runs exactly 60 seconds, and when the time is up, at least 50% of the rings have to be at the correct side to continue to the next level. The more rings are on the correct side, the higher the score will be. Also if the player manages to sort the rings out before the time runs up, additional points are awarded.
Level 1 starts with 2 rings each, increasing two rings per level - so level 10 will feature 22 (11 blue, 11 red) rings.
