Be a King 2 The kingdom your father had built crumbled when the evil Lord Zimund killed him and usurped the throne. 18 years later it is up to you to rebuild the land, protect it from monsters and reclaim your throne. To accomplish this arduous task you must hire workers and heroes, build farms and houses, and erect defensive building like forts and mage towers, as you take province after province.

A sequel to the original Be a King , Be a King 2 is a resource management game where you must maintain a solid supply of resources (gold, wood and stone), build different building and hire units (workers and knights) to accomplish a set objective in each mission. These objectives demand you to collect a set quantity of resources, establish a certain daily income, build a number of particular buildings and/or have a population of some level. Roaming monsters will attack your settlement hampering your growth and may even destroy it. At the end of each mission you are given a score depending on how fast you completed it and various other factors.

Buildings are divided into four groups: Residential, food producing, service structures and military. All buildings can be built only in designated areas, require a set amount of resources and worker and time to build, and can be upgraded. Resources for buildings can be either purchased directly for gold, or produced by resource producing buildings. Knights can help you protect your town, or be sent on quests with random results. Each map can have different initial resources, initial buildings (in various state of repair), units and be subjected to attack from different enemies (from weak wolves to powerful trolls). The challenge for the player is to construct buildings, generate resources and hire units in such way and order that the players accomplishes the mission objective in a timely manner all the while repelling waves of monsters.
