Attempting to render a visual reproduction of this game's subject would be a waste of processor power considering that the scenario can be better and more completely depicted by simply closing your eyes. The player is dumped in the middle of an unlit room, 21 paces long by 21 paces wide, and their task is to locate in this dark chamber a black cat, navigating step by step through arrow-key presses. Fortunately for the player, the cat will mewl "Polo" in response to the space bar's "Marco!", subtle stereophonic changes in its meowling's projected source allowing a player with sharp triangulation abilities (and a pair of good headphones) to determine its direction and distance and, ultimately, its location. Unfortunately for the player, there are other objects in the room (among them a rake and a harp) acting as obstacles in the way of the cat, only to be discovered upon "walking" into them. Eventually, maneuvering around these obstacles' contours or just following a systematic cell-by-cell approach, the cat can be found.
