Blokus 3D is a software version of the board game featuring colored, Tetris-shaped pieces (here called stones) that four players lay down onto the playfield. At each corner of the board all four player have 21 stones each that they have to lay down. The first stone is to be placed on the player's corner of the board. The game is finished when no player is able to lay a further stone. There is only one rule: although stones of different colors may touch, each of your stones (i.e. of the same color) must share a corner with another one, but never share an edge.
Before you place a stone, try to rotate and/or mirror it. When you're OK with the position of the stone, then you can lay it down following the main rule of the game. You can play alone with three computer-controlled opponents, or have a multiplayer game. A chatbox is also available. The game features both Hint and Undo functions, and in the advanced settings you can adjust the board size, among many other options. Three difficulty levels are available.
