Game Classification

In Body Ladder, the player takes control of a 3-D stick figure in a top hat who has only one goal, to reach the top of the level by stacking the dead bodies of an endless supply of evil clones.

The player uses four different melee weapons: a baseball bat, an axe, a chainsaw and dual pistols to destroy these clones which are unlocked once a level of bodies reach a certain point that is designated on the left side of the screen on a meter, however once the player unlocks a weapon they can't go back to the previous weapon. There is also five grenades at their disposal and their psychic powers which can explode the head of a clone.

There are also two powerups which drops down at random times: a health icon which is represented by a red cross and an icon called "psy" which induces a temporary cloak of invincibility. There is also two meters at the top of the screen, a health meter which is reduced each time the player is attacked and a "psy" meter with a number which represents who many head exploding attacks they can use, which is replenished over time.

The gameplay utilizes both the mouse and the keyboard, while the keyboard arrows are used for movement (Up is for jumping, left and right are to move) and the mouse is used for attack clones (maneuvering the cross hairs on the screen at a clone and clicking the left mouse button to use an attack). Depending on where the players aims their cross hair will determine which attack will be used (aiming anywhere on the lower body will have the player use a melee weapon and pointing it at the head will use the psy power to explode the clones head).
