Game Classification

Bola is a soccer game on Facebook. The player takes control of a team and indirectly plays against friends. Players can hire players and play against friends or random opponents of the same level. Competition is indirect as the player will always play the match against the AI, but once the match is played the opponent will have the opportunity to replay the match. Thus a match is only really won when both players have played it and the best play counts. Playing matches earns the player money based on a sponsorship. The money can be used to improve the stadium and buy better facilities that unlock new options such as training players.

The matches themselves are shown in a top-down perspective and offer simple arcade style gameplay. There's a limit of matches that can be played in a row and players have to return after some time has passed to be able to play again. [source:mobygames]
