Bullet Time is a very fast side-scrolling shooter where the player controls a space ship that simply needs to survive as long as possible. Shooting is done automatically, it only needs to be steered away from opponents and bullets. Quite a task in the hectic environment as a single hit ends the game right away. To progress and extend the survival time, awarded with different rankings and tracked over the different sessions, the ship can shoot opponents to have them release green energy balls that upgrade the shooting power. As a last resort, there is also the bullet time as referenced in the title. The player can press a key, turning the screen green, to slow down all action and navigate through bullets and enemies is slow motion.
