Carom 3D is an online multi-user Billiard game. Play online against players from around the world, one on one or competition between 5 or team play 2 on 2 or 3 on 3. The game offers a diverse variety of billiard and pool games; billiards, snooker, carombole, 3 ball, 4 ball, 6 ball, 8 ball, 9 ball, rotation ball, card ball.

The backdrops are some fully modeled 3D rooms such as an antique room with a fire place, Carom Beach and a Korean room and a heavily sponsored "Event Room" where all four walls are advertisements by sponsors. The game is similar to TrackMania Nations ESWC, in that the game is released as freeware, but throughout the game advertisements are seen by various companies, mainly consumer electronics and computer parts companies.

The game started in Korea in 2002, and over the years it has evolved into a fully fledged online game, even with some RPG elements. In the latest versions of the game, the players are represented as animated characters that walk around the pool table. You can customise your character by buying add-ons (with real cash), such as special cues and clothes. As of 2007, Carom3D has been one of the games offered at the World Cyber Games.
