Christmas Super Frog Christmas Super Frog is a top-down, Christmas-themed Frogger clone. Santa's sleigh has failed in mid-flight, raining gifts randomly all over town. A local frog, enthused with Christmas spirit, has taken it upon himself to retrieve the gifts and save Christmas. Or die trying.

The player begins each level on one end of a busy highway, his goal being to cross it and retrieve the wrapped present on the opposite end without being squished. Between him and his objective are a number of hazards, such as routine traffic and an assortment of flying objects, such as candy canes and gingerbread men, all of which are in danger of ending the frog's life at a moment's notice. A timer also exists, represented by a rapidly decreasing bonus score counter, which ends the game when it reaches zero. As the game progresses the traffic becomes faster, the streets busier, and the flying threats more numerous.

Unlike many Frogger titles the protagonist does not move using a grid-based system, instead moving by increments each time the forward key is pressed. As such crossing a lane of a road takes three movements rather than one.

A score is kept based on how quickly the player manages to complete each level, and how many levels he's reached, which can be entered on a high score board at the end of the game. [source:mobygames]
