Concorde Concorde is part of Koch Media's 'Flying through the Decades' series. It is an additional aircraft developed for use with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002.

This simulation creates a realistic cockpit environment with fully animated controls, aerodynamics (so you can see the vortices around the wings), afterburners, nose visor, etc. Even though not all systems are simulated, for example Concorde's Emergency procedures are not covered, there's plenty to occupy the aero-enthusiast.
Concorde is not an easy plane to fly. Real life training requires 6 months ground training and 19 four hour simulator sessions. To help you through the steep learning curve this package comes with with flight checklists and four detailed manuals on the disc;
- the Concorde Aircraft Operating Manual (114 pages),
- the Concorde Flying manual ( 89 pages),
- the Concorde Performance manual ( 70 pages),
- the Concorde Weather Tutorial ( 5 pages)
You can jump in and try to fly this machine straight away but you will probably struggle. To get the most from this simulation you really do need to be prepared to put in some real effort. [source:mobygames]
