Having lost William when a temple collapsed, Anna finds herself stranded in Egypt. She makes her way to Cairo, hoping to find a Professor Cullen and ask his help. He cannot spare resources to help her but invited her to help him on his dig. They are discovering a mystery that may link Napoleon to Nefertiti.
Curse of the Pharaoh: Napoleon's Secret is a hidden object and 'spot the difference' puzzle game. The game is divided into worlds, like Cairo and the Basilica San Marco. Each world is divided into six areas. Each area may be a 'spot the difference' or hidden object puzzle. In 'spot the difference' areas, you will be shown two pictures and must click anything that is not the same in both. In hidden object areas, you are given a list of items and must find them in the picture. You then click these items to clear them from the screen and the list.
In both areas, you must also find three coins hidden in the picture as well as other objects not on the list. These objects are then used to correct a part of the picture, such as a missing statue or a brick for a wall, or are used at the end of the world after all six areas are cleared. Also, you must find a piece of the Pharaoh's mask in each of the six areas. After you complete all the areas of a world, you must place the Pharaoh's mask in the space provided then complete a mini-puzzle. These may be placing stone rings on a board and pouring in a blue liquid then rotating the rings so the liquid flows to the center or putting animal paintings into a portrait. If you see Wipi, who looks rather like Anubis, pop out of the side of the screen, click him for extra hints.
