Dimensity is a hybrid RPG-RTS game in a medieval fantasy setting.
The people of Dumnoni have for a long time been threatened by the wild Firbolgs from the north. When another danger arises in the south the people call for the warrior Iomar to take care of the situation.
The player takes on the role of Iomar. The basic game play is of a hack and slash role playing game. The player sees the map from a high up third person perspective and has to chop down hordes of enemies and collect the loot that they drop. Killing enemies earns experience points which make Iomar rise in level and abilities.
Iomar can also construct buildings from the ground. There are three different buildings, one is a guard tower and in the other two units can be trained which can aid in combat. These units can also be upgraded. Units include soldiers, bowmen, healers, airships and cannons.
The player can create his own Iomar choosing from four different races and two classes (warrior or wizard). Warrior abilities are weapon-dependent and are mostly combo attack. Iomar has three stats that can be improved, strength, dexterity and intelligence. [source:mobygames]
