Game Classification

Dogfight: The Great War has the player take command of a Sopwith Camel during World War I in ten missions against the German Luftwaffe in a final battle against a massive war Zeppelin.

There are four types of enemies: AA guns stationed on the ground that will fire into the air, German bombers that are slow and take quite a few hits including rear gunners that can fire back at the player and two different pilots, Regular Pilots in red planes who are more easily destroyed and Ace Pilots flying black and white colors and take more hits to bring down.

The controls consists of using the keyboard using the "Up" Arrow key on the keyboard to fly upwards and pressing "Down" to fly downwards and using the "Space Bar" to fire the machine guns mounted on the front of the plane.

There is also the ability to play two-player in a massive squadron dogfight where player one uses the Arrow and Space button and the second player uses the "W and S" keys to maneuver the plane and the left "Shift" button to fire. There is no health bar, time limit or point system and the player has an infinite amount of continues. [source:mobygames]
