Jane and Joe were a perfect couple. But real love always meets obstacles. In this case - the seven portals... Enigma 7 is a classic Match 3 game supported by a story involving a relationship, archaeology, and mysterious gateways.

One day Jane disappears. Joe ventures in the dangerous journey to unlock the seven magical portals of the Lands of Enigma and rescue his love. In order to do this Joe will have to collect pieces of the land's map and find the necessary keys to open the portals.

The game offers 3 modes:

- In Swap mode you swap adjacent pieces in order to match 3 of them in a row and highlight tiles under them before the door closes.

- Slider Mode is different. You'll also get a play field with tiles to highlight, but your task is to slide a piece from one of three sides of the field to an adjacent tile in order to make a match. This requires a bit of strategic thinking and is more challenging than Swap mode.

- Mix Mode has both options at the same time, with alternate Swap and Slider levels.

Besides basic game play you will also have access to various powerups by filling Powerup Meter. This is done by creating combos of four and more tiles. You also get a hammer powerup if the playfield becomes locked (no possible moves left).

Once you collect nine pieces of the map you're presented a jigsaw puzzle which upon completion gets you one of the seven portal keys. [source:mobygames]
