An interesting freeware game from Japanese software house OMEGA, Every Extend is a top-down action game (over a 3D background) in which you control a bomb - literally, a bomb - which you must maneuver for maximum damage. Enemy cubes of various kinds move around the playfield and by triggering an explosion at the right moment you can create massive chain reactions which wipe your enemies out.
The ultimate goal in Every Extend is to gain points by blowing up enemy cubes and by collecting energy capsules (bonuses that are released from exploding green cubes). You can collect "quicken"-capsules from purple cubes, which will increase the frequency and speed of enemies (a must if you want to create massive explosion chains), and finally there are sunlight-yellow capsules release from yellow cubes, which will give you a +10 second time extensions. Whenever you manage to blow up one of these cubes (green, purple or yellow) it will release a few shots before exploding; hitting one of those shots or any of the enemies will lose you a life as well as a -5 second penalty. You start with 2.5 minutes and 12 bombs in your "stock," and whenever you gain enough points you get an extra bomb (an "extend").
Finally, when you have 45 seconds left, you will face one of several bosses (depending on the game mode - "light" or "heavy" - and your performance) which you have to destroy by creating adjacent chain reactions. When the game is over you will get several bonuses: a "stock" bonus (for the bombs you have left), a time bonus and a "chain" bonus (for the maximum chain length in this particular round.)
