Galactic Dream: Rage of War is a real time strategy game set in space. In it humanity is threatened by a terrible apocalypse, the so called second big bang. The humans leave their home world and send out colony ships to explore the uncharted space in search for a new home. It doesn't take long before an even bigger threat emerges, an alien species knows as Argo who has no intention to leave the humans in peace. As if that wasn't enough a second alien race is introduced, the Dakras who are supposedly even more vicious.

The gameplay of Galactic Dream: Rage of War is similar to other RTS games and consists of the usual mix of battles, resource gathering and base building. Focus lies on combat and massive attacks can be initiated within minutes of playtime. Resource gathering consists of harvesting minerals from asteroids. This aspect of the game has been minimized and is mostly automatized while limited to only one type. The player also has to occupy supplies which are habitable environments where units can feed and rest when not active. The player starts out with a few workers that can be used for mining or to construct buildings. By constructing buildings more unit types are made available. The player can produce numerous kinds of starships to attack enemies and turrets to defend his base. The key to being successful in combat is to combine different units that complement each other. Units that engage in combat gains experience points and their damage, hit points and fire range increases. [source:mobygames]
