Globey - On The Roll! is an arcade game where the player controls a rolling dragon called Globey, destroying obstacles with its body to clear a path to a fellow dragon locked inside a cage.

The cursor is shaped like a fairy and attracts the dragon when the left mouse button is pressed and held down. Globey bounces and spins like a pinball across the screen, breaking all sorts of objects. A power gauge at the right side shows the amount of fairy energy left. When all the energy is spent, the fairy can't control the dragon for a few seconds, until the gauge fills again automatically. The right mouse button stops Globey instantly, but costs half the energy stored.

The goal of each level is to free the trapped dragon by smashing its cage. Jewels are found scattered through the levels, and every 250 gems collected unlock a bonus round. Some levels have special items, like drawbridges with hidden switched buttons that must be lowered, magnets that repel the dragon, teleporters that transport Globey to other places and explosives that eliminate obstacles.

The barrels found on some levels contain power-ups that are stored on slots and can be used at any time during the game. The electrifier makes Globey hits more effective, the enlarger makes the dragon bigger, the multiplier creates three Globey replicas and the angrifier breaks all the obstacles near Globey for a few seconds.
