Hello Kitty Parachute Paradise is an arcade game for the iPhone that makes use of the accelerometer.

Using the touch screen the player has to launch Hello Kitty into the air from the elastic band she's sitting on. The further the player pulls the further she'll go. But pull too far and the band will snap.

Once up in the air Hello Kitty will deploy a parachute and slowly glide down again. The player can control her direction by tilting the iPhone to the left or right. The goal is to collect apples and items which earn the player points. There are also prickly things that hurt Hello Kitty and thus cost the player points.

There are multiple levels with each a different background. All levels are randomized each time the player plays it. For each level there are online rankings. The player can opt to look at global rankings or local rankings. The game uses the iPhone's GPS function to determine the local position of the game. [source:mobygames]
