Your homeworld is under attack by alien forces, and the only way stop the aliens from bombing your world to ruins is to neutralize all bombs before the ground it hit by them.
For this purpose, you control a multi-layered collector/reflector. Simply move your vehicle below a bomb, and it will catch them (standard bombs), re-bounce them (advanced bombs), or you loose a layer of your vehicle (spiked bombs).
So, your job is to "collect" all green and yellow bombs (the standard bombs) and re-bounce the blue bomb so that it will destroy the enemy ship. If one of those three bombs hit the ground, you loose one layer of your three-layered vehicle (basically one out of three lives). However, when you see a red spiked bomb, you have to avoid it. When this bomb hits the ground, nothing happens, but when you collect it, you loose a life.
Besides the bombs, there are other things in the level too, like a bomb splitter (making two bombs out of one), a bomb redirector (changes the course of the bombs), and a bomb accelerator.
The game itself offers two game modes, Conquest Mode, that's basically a campaign, where you play through 50 levels, and Survival Mode, where you play without levels.
When you start a game, only one alien ship is your enemy, but later, you have to battle multiple enemy ships at the same time. There are even games, where the playfield is reversed (both upside-down and mirror are possible).
