Game Classification

Hunting Unlimited is a first person hunting game in a 3D environment. The different game animals that can be hunted include: White-tailed Deer, Moose, Brown (Grizzly) Bear, Mule Deer and Elk. Players select which of the game animals to pursue and then select a level/mission which incorporates this as well as different restrictions and equipment. Each animal has a variety of information on it and must be hunted differently (and shot in different places) to succeed. Additionally the player can visit a Hunting range to improve accuracy.

The number of possible landscapes includes such locales as Alaska, Arizona, British Columbia, Colorado and Texas. In each area, the player can move around forwards, backwards, left and right with freedom of 3D movement. The player is also able to Run, Jump and Crouch. The game features 30 items of equipment which includes rifles, bows & arrows, binoculars and pistols. Each mission typically features a set 3D environment with the hunter and it's prey "nearby" somewhere. [source:mobygames]
