A prince locked inside an ice brick must rescue the princess from being frozen by an evil witch.

Ice Princess is a puzzle game where the player must move a prince that is encased inside an ice slab, through a path to an exit. The slab can only be moved by tumbling it with the keyboard or mouse. If the slab or part of it falls off the path, the prince dies and the level is restarted. The game is very similar to Bloxorz, a popular on-line flash puzzle.

The levels have items to be taken and special floor tiles. Some levels have crystals that must be collected before reaching the exit. A guardian angel acts as an extra life after being picked up, and saves the prince if he falls off. Tiles with shattered ice can only support the slab if it stands up, otherwise they break. The slab can stand or lay on tiles with tricky snow, but when standing on them they turn into shattered ice ones. Thin ice tiles can only be crossed once. Some tiles have switches that activate bridges when the slab stands or lays on them.

Between the levels the witch challenges the player to a mini-game, where each opponent must push pucks (that slide like in table hockey) off the table. Winning doubles the points, and losing resets the score to zero. [source:mobygames]
