The Talon's are a technologically advanced race that wants to strip Earth for it resources. Of course Earth has a problem with that. In 2248 Commander Ethan Avery is sent to Infinity Station to investigate the loss of contact with the Top Secret research facility. Soon it becomes clear that Talon's have invaded the station and are looking for the mysteries behind Infinity Project - whatever it may be.

The Infinity Project is a first-person-shooter in which the player takes over the control of Ethan Avery, exploring the station and fighting the various types of Talon's trying to stop him. Included are several tough bosses, who can take quite a beating before going down. During the course of the game the player will find several different kinds of weapons to help him in his quest ranging from a pistol with unlimited ammo, over silenced machine guns to powerful laser rifles and rocket launchers. Also available are grenades.

As in most modern shooters, the players health regenerates automatically if not fired upon for a few seconds. Most of the game consists of fighting enemies, finding the security card in a level and unlock with it the door to the next stage. [source:mobygames]
