Izumo 2 The hero of the game is Takeru, an ordinary Japanese teenager who attends the private academy Izumo. He leads a normal school-boy life, hanging out with his friends, chasing pretty girls, and occasionally training in the martial art of kendo. One day, a terrible earthquake shatters the school. The entire place has become infested by monsters. Takeru must now fight for his life and find a way to stop the invasion.

The sequel to Izumo is nearly identical to the predecessor in gameplay and graphical style. As before, the main portion of the gameplay is dedicated to old-school Japanese RPG, with party management, dungeon exploration (now with an auto-map), random turn-based battles (isometric perspective), and learning magical spells of different elements. There are also large chunks of "visual novel" gameplay style, during which the player watches events unfold in still pictures. As in the first game, there is nudity and sexual scenes here.
