Joe Cable is reflex-based game where players control the clumsy power technician Joe. When his ladder slips away, he finds himself dangling on a power line. He quickly grabs his belt and starts to slide down. Players control Joe as he gains speed on the power cord. There are two main lines, left and right, and by tapping he jumps to the other one to avoid obstacles or gaps. He encounters birds, stars, and other objects that can knock him down. While hanging on a single line, tilting the device makes him swing left or right. The goal is to get a high score, while the difficulty, the amount of obstacles, and the speed increase.

Through OpenFeint and Game Center, players can compete with friends on leaderboards and unlock up to twenty achievements. It also includes a challenge system to challenge other players directly. [source:mobygames]
