Game Classification

Klix! is a puzzle game with blocks very similar to Klax. Blocks emerge on conveyor belts with an irregular distance and they come slowly forward until they threaten to fall from the play table. The player moves around a box at the edge, left and right, to catch the blocks. A maximum of five blocks can be stacked in a single go. With the space button these blocks are stored on five fields at the ground.

The blocks do not have unlimited space on the ground, they need to disappear. This done by stacking similar blocks together, in horizontal, vertical or diagonal blocks of at least three in succession, based on the same colour. Blocks come in seven different colours. For combinations of more than three blocks bonus points are provided.

Each level has a specific goal that needs to be reached in order to progress. These include forming ten combinations, or ten diagonal ones in later levels. The game gradually gets harder and the blocks start moving at a faster speed on the conveyor belt. [source:mobygames]
