Game Classification

Lame Castle is a platforming games where the player's goal is to destroy the castle at the end of each level. The player controls a hobby-horse riding knight with the given the abilities to jump, double jump, attack, and dash attack. The game features interactive objects in the environment that will either explode or pop based on how fast the player runs by them, making running an important aspect of the game. For example, if the player runs by a corn plant at a slow speed nothing happens, but if they're moving extremely fast then the corn will pop into popcorn.

Points are awarded based on how far and how fast the player runs, by triggering interactive objects, kicking chickens, looting flying treasure chests, and smashing rocks. Certain actions will build up combo points so every time the player kicks a chicken, loots a treasure chest or smashes a rock their combo score will go up.

Lame Castle features a campaign mode where you play through a set of levels that progressively get longer and more difficult. Each of the campaign levels has a bonus objective associated with it that will yield extra points if achieved. The game also has four different endless challenge modes where the goal is to run as far and score as many points as possible.

Challenge modes and bonus objectives include Normal Points Mode: Score as many points as possible, Chicken Punt: Kick chickens for points, Treasure Hunt: Loot flying treasure chests for points, Smash Master: Smash rocks for points. [source:mobygames]
