Little Shop: Memories Little Shop: Memories is a nostalgia-themed hidden object game, and the fifth entry in the Little Shop series. The owner of a shop is moving to a new town, and while rummaging through the attic, memories keep popping up as flashbacks. Every item uncovered opens four places, every one connected to some special moment in the life of the owner.

The main objective on each cluttered location is to find all the objects listed at the bottom of the screen. A star meter at the top keeps filling up, with a minimum of ten objects to be collected to complete each scene. Besides the list items, fake peanut cans with coiled springs and Polaroid photos can be collected for an optional trophy.

Some items found laying around help the player to find the list items. The thermometer shows how near the cursor is from the objects, by covering the five visible list entries with a layer of snow, and making them defrost and start to catch fire when the cursor is closer to them. Each location has two cameras that flash the screen, making most of it go white for a few seconds with the exception of the required objects. The ? marks give extra hints.

The hint system, as in the previous titles of the series, only replaces the list names with images of the objects, not showing the exact location of an item. After completing the four scenes a mini-game comes up, with new gameplay variations where the player must restore old photographs by replacing missing objects, find jewelry pairs from a drawer, combine objects from a junk pile and other challenges. Completing this gives an inventory item, like a crowbar or a safe combination, to be used on the attic to move on to the next set of memories.

After completing the regular mode, the blitz mode is unlocked, where the player must find all the objects from the previous scenes as fast as possible. [source:mobygames]
