Game Classification

Mattscheiben-Shoot is a shooter game based on the intro sequence of the German TV show Kalkofes Mattscheibe. There Oliver Kalkofe walks through a dark alley and shoots television sets which show bad shows - and exactly the same is the goal of this game.

The player has a viewing point on an alley and there are TV sets flying or moving on the screens which show logos of German or American shows. The player needs to separate the good shows, e.g. Deadwood, from the bad shows, e.g. Sarah & Marc Crazy in Love and shoot the bad ones.

The player has eight shots before he needs to reload with space. The time limit is presented by a bar on the lower side of a screen. The bar decreases when bad shows are on the screen and increases when only good ones are present. When the bar reaches its fully developed the game ends.
