Missile Command is a XBLA port of the classic coin op arcade game of the same name, in which the player assumes control of several missile batteries that are needed to fend of the missile attacks of an alien threat. Whilst taking out the alien missiles, the player has to ensure as many of the surrounding cities. at the end of each round, points are awarded for the surviving amount of cities, missile emplacements remaining and left over missiles.
This XBLA version gives you the ability to play Missile Command in it's original form, or with updated graphics, which use anti aliasing as well as outputting full HDTV graphics. It also comes with some new game modes that include Throttle Monkey Mode which ups the game speed and difficulty to increase the challenge. [source:mobygames]
