Monkey Labour is an 1980s handheld LCD game recreation for iOS. The game features simple gameplay but is hard to master - using two control buttons, the player has to stoke an oven with lumber while his or her angry monkey boss throws obstacles his way. Fortunately, the creaky factory plumbing does provide some chance for retaliation as an overheating oven will send plumes of fire from the ceiling, enabling the player to scorch the monkey for extra points ... though risking the monkey's rage if it manages to evade the flames!

The game features 10 different monkey boss behaviors that change every 100 points. After reaching 1000 the game repeats but at a much greater speed by then. The goal of the game lies in reaching high scores while trying to dissect the patterns of the monkey. Support for Game Center enables tracking of achievements and ranking on global leaderboards.
