Once Upon a Crime is an AGS whodunnit adventure game featuring many well-known characters from tales and books. A grown-up Little Red Riding Hood has just received her badge as a private investigator. Her first case is the death of the Big Bad Wolf who has been murdered (or was it just strawberry jam?). Other characters and possible suspects include Mr. Geppetto and his log, the Tin Soldier, Granny Smith, the three pigs, Guldenstern, Captain Hook, Mr. Smee, Tinker Bell, King Neptune of Atlantis, Flim, the Fire Ghost, the Bogey Man and H.A.L. 3K.

Little Red Riding Hood has to visit different locations and gather clues, with a juice of truth as the main item of importance. The game uses a classic point-and-click interface with five action items (walk, look, get, use, talk), an inventory and a dialogue system. The puzzles are mainly item-based. [source:mobygames]
