In this veterinary simulation, the player is a new vet at the Pet Pals Animal Shelter. As rescue animals come in, the player will need to diagnose what's wrong with them, treat them, then arrange for adoption. More than 30 cases are included, and three difficulty levels. Inside the clinic, the player has an array of tools with which to examine and treat the animal, and can ask questions to the vet tech. After treating the animal, it needs to be enriched to prepare for adoption. This includes cleaning, feeding, and playing with the animal to make it healthy and well adjusted.
Minigames (Trivia, word search, and jigsaw puzzles) with an animal theme are also included, along with a database of tools used in the game, a glossary, material on careers with animals, adoption info, and information on the animal breeds shown in the game.
