Pictureka is a game for the downloadable XBLA version of Hasbro Family Game Night. It can only be played through Hasbro Family Game Night, which is offered as a free application. It is not included in the retail Xbox 360 version of the game, but it is featured in the Wii-exclusive retail title Family Game Night 2. Hosted by Hasbro's Mr. Potato Head, the game can be selected from a game room. The room can be browsed and holds trophies collected while playing. Each game comes with included hints. There are also different background themes to choose from.
Pictureka is a conversion of the board game and it is based around hidden objects. Players roll a dice with different colours to select a theme and then have to discover objects in a crowded environment with a strict time limit. For each successfully completed round a card is awarded with the colour of the theme. Possible questions are finding objects that make a sound, finding letters that make up a word, discovering an object based on an outline, etc. Some rounds are played on a single screen, while others take up multiple ones. Next to the classic mode there is also remixed mode with new types of questions, and a custom mode to choose specific features. Players controls a cursor to hover over the objects, which are then highlighted. Selecting them is done with a single button.
