Game Classification

Pipe World is a puzzle game with isometric graphics, where the player has to construct pipelines going from water pumps to cities.

In puzzle mode, the objective of each level is to connect the pump to the city using the few available tubes and joints laying around. The pipes can be picked up with the left mouse button, moved around the scenery to their correct place and deployed with the same button. The right mouse button rotates the normal pipes. A few of the pieces have special characteristics. Red pipes with a sign on top showing a crossed curved arrow can't be rotated. Some tubes have a giant arrow floating over them to indicate the only possible way for the water flow. Orange pipes are bolted to the ground and can't be moved or rotated. Others have a button on top that controls the water flow.

In arcade mode, the screen shows several cities at one side of the field, and lots of water pumps at the opposite side, with the space between the two groups filled with random pipe pieces. The player has to click and turn the pieces, creating pipelines to make them disappear and deliver water to a set number of cities displayed at the top, within 60 seconds. Some tubes have coins floating over them, and give extra points when used. [source:mobygames]
