A teenage girl called Andie falls in love with her rich schoolmate Blaine, and both must overcome their different backgrounds to start a relationship.

Pretty in Pink is a hidden object game based on 1986 movie of the same name. The game shows static scenes based on the film, where the objective is to find and click all the items listed at the top of the screen within a time limit, including a silhouetted item that is later added to the prom dress. Besides the required objects, the locations also have ducks and toy cars that must be collected to change the outcome of the story and achieve a happy ending. The hint button shows the position of one of the list entries, but takes some time to recharge after use.

Mini-games appear between the hidden object screens and cutscenes. Most are genre staples, like the obligatory spot-the-difference game with the screen split in two similar images, a concentration game and jigsaw puzzles. In the cooking mini-game, instead of the recipe the game show clues ("the salt is put after the milk") and the player must discover their correct order. [source:mobygames]
