Game Classification

Psicotic is a multi-screen shoot'em up game coded in STOS. Aliens from the planet ZzalazZ has almost destroyed earth and as head of Earth Security you have to avenge your dead fellow humans. The intergalactic bank has agreed to pay you three things for every alien ship you render defenceless:
1. 3 credits
2. 500 or 1000 points bonus
3. 1 part of a bomb
Once you get all the bomb parts you can assemble a bomb powerful enough to destroy the whole alien fleet.

One alien ship consists of five screens. After destroying all enemies in one screen you are presented with a bonus: a credit, a bonus token or a piece of the bomb. Once you have destroyed an entire ship you can participate in the intergalactic banks code game where you can win 0, 1 or 2 bonus credits. I you fail to win the bonus game you will lose all credits you collected on the level. After the bonus game you will be transferred to a shop where you can spend your credits on various equipment or points.

As you progress in the game the number of enemies you encounter will increases and they will also be faster and fire faster bullets. [source:mobygames]
