The frighteningly good heroes of R.I.P. return as more of those disgusting humans try to breach into The Other World. Having already conquered the entire planet under the guidance of General Wildboar the humans have banned all holidays and celebrations. To further nail the coffin on these acts they decide to cross over their conquest. This time however they're in for the surprise of their afterlives.
Once limited to stationary guns our heroes this time have at their disposal, tanks, dragons, helicopter and of course the trusty old stationary turrets. Having the ability to also roam around does have its perks as well for our heroes, Death, Halloween, & Rock-n-Roll. But the humans have a few surprises of their own, as five different bosses including a mine deploying tank and a gunship will present quite the challenge for our otherworldly champions. Of course to even up the odds a bit on top of the arsenal of new weapons and toys our heroes still have their old skeletal serfs to bring health and weapon bonuses to the playing field.
Other changes in this second part of the R.I.P. series includes more detailed "level-ups" in that your characters' mid-level avatar will actually show the way you've upgraded your character, from rows of bullets to bared giant fangs, to iron helmets. As per the original game there is also a toned down kids version of the game with flowers instead of blood and a Rush mode where the object is to survive an onslaught for as long as possible. in the original story mode there are a total of sixty levels not including training stages.
