Prince January controls the seasons of the kingdom using magic, turning it into a cold and desolate place. To defeat him, a champion must take back all the magic artifacts.

Season Match 2, like its predecessor, is a tile-matching game similar to Super Collapse! and other games. The objective is to click and remove groups of three or more tiles of the same type. Some levels have a magic artifact buried under the tiles that must be uncovered and recovered before time runs out.

A bar at the top of the screen shows the number of jewels that must be removed to finish the level. There are mini-games at the end of each chapter. Most are seek-and-find games where hidden objects have to be found on the screen. Others are shadow matching games, where an object has to be matched to its silhouette. In one game, the player has to find pairs in a pile of assorted objects.

Power-ups are stored in three slots at the bottom of the screen that slowly fill with each match of their corresponding tile. The clover removes one tile, the leaf removes a group of them and the flower turns tiles into groups of the same type. Obstacles, like blocks and stones, break gradually every time the adjacent tiles are matched and removed. [source:mobygames]
