As the name implies, Shit Game does not sport much ambition, but behind the name and the apparently sloppily drawn black-and-white graphics is a large amount of varied and thought out gameplay. It is played as a typical platformer where an anonymous protagonist for no apparent reason needs to reach a gate to finish levels filled with surrealistic environments including crashing planes, giant heads and floating eyeballs. There are no means of attack, but certain objects in the environment can be used to take out enemies. The game keeps track of the number of tries and completion time. The music consists of instrumental renditions of film soundtracks and well-known songs.
