In Springer, you control the chess piece of the same name (German Springer = English knight) in a non-chess game.
While the board size is still of a chess board (8x8), it is colored with six different colors. And the knight is the only chess piece in the game.
The goal of this freeware game is simple. Move the knight (with chess correct movement) through the board, while jumping on white, cyan, yellow, green and magenta squares and avoiding the red squares (the first five give point, the last one costs points) until you can't move anymore, as already used squares become black and non-usable.
The game can be played alone or against another player.
